On a very spontaneous background, created with greens and a touch of black, I have painted flowers with burgundy and pink tones, giving a lot of depth and working the lights to achieve volume.

In this type of painting it is important to first create a small sketch, to know where to place the lightest color and the darkest areas, if we make the drawing first we will achieve it.

The burgundy color has little coverage so I first mixed it with a more solid color.

When the flower is already built, I have mixed the burgundy with a pinch of black and I have added medium to the mixture to make it more transparent, and I have darkened the areas that interested me, in this way we respect the work that is below and we manage to give a lot of depth.
