Two very popular index funds - the FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund and the FTSE All World ETF (VWRL).

Both are very popular. Both are global funds that are globally diversified. Both are low-cost, passive, hands-off and great ways to invest for the long term.

However, there are a few key differences that you should be aware of, and in this video I break them down. Hopefully this will help you decide which one is best for you.

The first two differences focus on the platforms the funds are available on and the type of instrument each is, the All Cap is an index fund and the All World is an ETF.

Diving deeper into the funds, the main difference is in the portfolio data. The All Cap includes small cap stocks, whereas the All World only includes large and medium cap stocks.

Aside from this, there are also slight differences in the fund fees and the dividends that each fund distributes.

Ultimately though, both funds are similar and have performed similarly in the past, so the best advice is to not get choice paralysis and simply start investing.
