This was my first 'Trumpeter' build. The kit appealed to me as I had never done a full interior before. As I researched during the build I found a lot of mistakes in the kit. The radio was wrong, the upper ammo racks, and other parts were incorrect. Some parts were hidden, but others had to be fixed. Even though, the friends seeing this kit would never know, I knew. There are a lot of suppliers of upgrades for this kit, Aber, and AFV modeller, for example. (links below) You would break the bank with this kit.
The fit of some of the parts was bad. Joining the hull was a nightmare. The fenders hide the gaps.
The finished product looks good. I almost swore off 'Trumpeter' after this but their panzer IV and Panther were much better. I give this kit 2.5 of 5
