Salina Turda is an underground amusement park located in Transylvania just outside the city of Cluj-Napoca. This is an abandoned Salt Mine that has been turned into an amusement park for everyone to enjoy and is definitely one of the most popular tourist attractions in Romania.

Salina Praid represents not just the biggest salt mine within Romania but also one of the biggest ones from Europe. The shape of Salina Praid (Praid Salt Mine) is slightly elliptical, found on a depth of 2,6-2,8km with diameters of 1,2 and 1,4 km. The Praid Salt Mine has a microclimate, with an average temperature of around 16° C, rich in ozone, very similar to that of Turda’s salt mine. Thanks to the stimulating climate, the air is very beneficial for the treating of asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic kidney diseases, chronic sinusitis, pulmonary emphysema, silicosis I and II, respiratory infections and others.
