We took the 1974 Super Cooper S to Irwindale Speedway for the Thursday night test and tune drag races. Tips from coach Tom Bayers after we got the Super Cooper Back from Dyno tuning at Church. I can tell you that managing 500 Whp in a tiny 1500 lb Mini is not for the faint of heart! I have a bit of track training but not enough proper practice at the Drag strip. Getting the Super Cooper S to lay down its new found power takes finesse and quite a bit of practice. Over the course of several months I took the Super Cooper S to get ready for the race of a lifetime in a head to head show called the Fastest Car season 2 which airs 9/20/19 on Netflix. It was hard to practice knowing we had competition for watching us, so I had to do some sand bagging as we improved. Here is a Link:
