To make a day to night time lapse with your drone, you are going to have to do your best to return the drone to more or less the same spot for each photo set. With at least one being during the day and one at night. For day photos I mostly used auto settings with 2 second intervals, for night I used manual with 1.3 second exposures. Editing wise on the photos I didn't make many changes to the day ones, but I turned down the color temp on night to make them more blue and night like. To match the clips I used premiere, overlapped them and reduced the opacity to match up a recognizable building. Then added a few simple transitions and your done!
