I hereby show you my new offroad 4wd project car, The Rocsta.
I bought the rocsta from a wrecker for a reasonable low price. It was sitting for many years. I actually walked past this car many times in the past, and at some moments, i would look inside it and see how complete it looked. Who knew i would end up buying it etc.
Anyway, i was able to spin the engine manually, the timing belt is still in place, and it holds coolant, thats reassurance so far at this point in time. In upcoming videos, i will show it starting/running and do off road driving and exploring in the bush etc. It will be a journey.
Plans:
Lift the car by approx 2 to 4 inches.
Fit muddies
Snorkel intake
Thats pretty much it.
Story as follows:
I always had a thing with offroading. I always wanted to try it out, however, never had the time to do so. I am now entering the world of 4wd offroading exploring.
And just recently, i saw 3 blokes rock climbing a very steep slope in the bush near me. Was so entertaining. The 4wd's offroading where a big beast Landcruiser, jeep cherokee and a suzuki jimny. After watching them drive up the mountain, I WAS HOOKED.
Having said this, i always like the suzuki sierra, cos its small and nimble, however, its been done to death. Everyone knows and has a suzuki sierra. I almost bought one, but since i saw this one, i had to get it. You dont see to many Roksta's around.
STAY TUNED.
