The song entered the main Irish charts at #1 on March 6th 2024, even overtaking Beyoncé's global super hit "Texas Hold 'Em". It's also one of the first ever female only released duets of this iconic song.

"Grace" narrates the timeless love story of Grace Gifford and Joseph Mary Plunkett who got married in Kilmainham gaol only hours before Joseph's execution for being one of the leaders of the 1916 Easter Rising.

With "Grace" Sina Theil and Meadhbh Walsh intend to highlight the female role in Irish song and history. Hence, they tell the story behind the song from a female voice and perspective, rather than the usual male narration; giving it a whole new meaning. This is a special release dedicated to International Women's Day.
