WSW 🎶 You get two for one in this week's #WendySingsWednesday video! I have loved this duet from West Side Story ever since I can remember, having grown up watching the 1961 movie version. And of course I would love to play both Maria and Anita (though I doubt I will as I'm not Latin American 🙂) so I decided to give you both parts! So I hope you enjoy A Boy Like That/I Have a Love for the third video in the theme of Roles I'd Love to Play ❤️

Fun fact: Anyone who's a fan of the movie may notice I've tried to hint at Anita and Maria's signature outfits - I always loved the purple dress Anita wears (though she sings 'America' in it, not this!) and this dress I'm wearing here was actually the dress my grandmother wore as Mother of the Groom to my uncle's wedding! I remember trying it on at her house 15-20 years ago and commenting on how it reminded me of Anita's dress in West Side Story. My granny was always so supportive of me as a perfomer so I'm happy I can finally wear it for this video with that lovely memory in mind ❤️
