دهانی جریده از فریاد - آلبوم رادیکال شاهین نجفی

Dahani Jerideh Az Faryad (A Mouth Torn by Outcry)
With two watermelons under my armpits (innuendo to inflate with pride)
With this very lean and yellow life of mine
I thought that it’s possible to fight
I thought that only I am the (brave) man!
The weary man, tired of injustice
The spears came towards me from every sides
I was brought back to myself
My body itched (innuendo to be ready for challenges)
I said “hands off the city”!
The night came and I made my chest the shield (innuendo to embrace the danger)
Like a strong mountain made of steel
I wanted to be like the sky
to be the savior of the half-dead city
to be the nest for the birds
With these very empty and cold hands of mine
I shouted that “the moon has come”,
the warrior of the army has come ,
the hatless “Che Guevara” has come
Though I’m a lightless nightwalker
Still with the language of poetry and chanson
Yet like the hoodlum of the neighborhood
Still watermelons under arms
I overstated this story
With a mouth torn by outcry
By one side is the cowards crowd
On the other side are friends with knives
At front is the shameless army
I have to go back the same way I’ve come!
Meanwhile the watermelons fell down!
I wanted to be like the sky
to be the savior of the half-dead city
to be the nest for the birds
With these very empty and cold hands of mine
I shouted that “the moon has come”,
the warrior of the army has come,
the hatless “Che Guevara” has come
Though I’m a lightless nightwalker
