I totally think kombucha was the root of a seizure I had last year in November. Let me share my experience and convey my reasoning that it was a seizure related to blood acidosis and low phosphate due to simply drinking ridiculous amounts of kombucha.

How safe is kombucha? Can it play a role in or cause seizures? I'm not talking about epilepsy.

Of course, too much of anything can't be good...

I slowly increased my intake of kombucha for months, after I quit drinking alcohol in early 2020, and eventually it was just way too much. I didn't know what I was doing... Then I had a seizure!

I looked it up on the internet, after I got home from the hospital.
