I didn't get it taxiing out because of the harsh sun (no cloud cover at the time) and I didn't think they would do tours on it, even though 2 separate ones were booked, engine #3 was being stubborn. The history of the plane is written below.

This plane was originally to go to Great Britain (before the USA entered WW2) but was damaged in a landing accident that ripped/damaged the undercarriage. It was sold back to Consolidated and they turned it into a executive official plane. It actually never bombed in WW2 but flew high profile people to England a few times. It was because it had no bomb bay, it became the prototype for the C-87 Liberator Express Transport plane. After WW2 it was sold to Continental Can Company and used for their executives. Finally before the CAF (Confederate but now Commemorative Air Force) finally got it, it went to PEMEX - Petroleos Mexicanos (fuel company). The CAF began (as much as possible0 turning it back into what it was originally, a bomber... but they are leaving the loading door thats on the Captains side (for ease of access).
