Why Nepo Babies In The Entertainment Scene Get So Much Hate

Nepotism is when those with power or influence favor their relatives and friends, especially when it comes to getting jobs. In the entertainment industry, it seems like every corner you turn to is looming with children of popular entertainers and while it has never been a problem to follow the same line of job as your parents, it has become a problem because more talented people are losing gigs because they don’t have the connection. Now, that’s not to say that children of influential people, also called nepo babies, are void of talent. But, why do people hate them so much? Or is there a bigger problem we are oblivious too?
