The Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire cast of characters features returning players and new faces alike, and MonsterVerse fans may be excited to see stars Bryan Tyree Henry (Bernie Hayes), Kaylee Hottle (Jia), and Rebecca Hall (Dr. Ilene Andrews) back in action. Also joining the cast are Fala Chen (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Alex Ferns (The Batman), and Rachel House (Hunt for the Wilderpeople). Although it’s unlikely thanks to the show the timeline explores, there’s also a possibility that a character or two from the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters may make their way into the movie.

Of course, Titans are the star of the show, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’s Skar King is a threat like none seen before in the MonsterVerse. While Titans often seem to have reptilian or insectoid origins, Skar King is related to orangutans, making the antagonist a unique opponent for both Godzilla and Kong to fight. In addition to bombastic battles, the movie is also set to explore the Hollow Earth and further delve into the origins of the Titans themselves.
