Many are looking for extra protein in their diet in the form of either pre-made protein shakes or protein powder. There are many out there and most are JUNK. How do you choose? I used to promote Orgain pre-made shakes because overall they are clean and organic, so I just assumed their powder would be too, NOT! Find out why, and what are the best protein powders and shakes out there. Be VERY VERY careful.

1. Orgain pre made chocolate and vanilla shakes are okay to drink in moderation. The pre-made chocolate fudge is NOT. Avoid that one. The Orgain protein powders are not okay to drink at all. The ingredients are not the same as the pre-made protein drinks.

2. Ancient Nutrtion and Garden of Life Raw Protein Powders are the cleanest of all and best to consume.

3. Ensure, Boost and Premiere are the absolute worst and are gut destroyers, yet when you are in the hospital or you are having gut issues, the GI doctors will tell you to drink this poison, which will destroy your gut further. Avoid them like the plague.

4. There are many other protein powders and shakes out there. Read all ingredients. Do not just assume it is good because it says organic or a medical doctor recommends it. Remember, they are NOT trained in health.

5. Avoid ingredients like canola oil, soy bean oil, vegetable oil, erythritol, natural flavors, artificial flavors, sucralose, dyes, rice dextrin, maltodextrin, cyanocobalamin, folic acid, etc. There are more to look out for, but these are the heavy hitters to avoid.
