A few weeks ago, we conducted a panel about sex trafficking with incredible advocates Melanie Thompson and Cristian Eduardo. We had such a raw and honest conversation that we broke it up into four parts.

Please know that we discuss some very tough and potentially triggering subjects, such as rape, violence, prejudice, police brutality, and of course sex trafficking/sexual exploitation. We definitely tried to discuss these topics as sensitively as possible, but please trust yourself if you don’t believe you can handle these conversations.

Our goals here were to continue to bring awareness about this horrific subject, to have as honest of a conversation as possible, and, most importantly, to listen to survivors. I have been learning about this industry for over a year now, and I still find I have a difficult time being eloquent about it. Melanie and Cristian, however, spoke so articulately, that Vanessa and I really wanted them to lead the conversation as much as possible. We are so, so grateful they joined us in this conversation.
