Lyrics:

Translation :
Avadhu mera mann matwara - Kabir (Translation by Radhavallabh Tripathi)
This song expresses the ecstasy of an intensive and profound spiritual experience. The mind is said to have become matavālā – a term used to describe transgressive and transcendental nature of this experience. Another term used to express this state is ‘Gagan Chadhā (scaled in the sky). This transcendency involves rising beyond the limitations of time and space., which Kabir terms as Suni Manḍala (Shūnya Maṇḍala). He hears the resounding sound of a māndala (drum) here which is symbolic of Anāhat Nāda (the sound devoid of human effort). One has to burn the impressions of evils like Kāma (desire) and krodha (anger) etc. for it. The recesses of inner psyche are filled with light. The seeker drinks the nectar of this divine experience, which is termed as Mahārasa. Kabir also hints upon his journey of spiritual pursuit here which undergoes the inner centres within human body – the nerves known as Sushumnā and Idā in Tāntric cult.
