Los Jokers were one of the only Funk/Soul band to come out of Paraguay in the 70s. Because the country had a very small recording industry during that decade, they focused mainly on traditional Polka & Guarania music. At that time, almost all Paraguayan records were manufactured in Argentina or Brazil, that is why Los Jokers partnered with Parnaso Records in Argentina and released the self titled album in 1974.
